No, I’m not insinuating that there are three genders, because there are not. I am stating that our younger generations are very confused. This has a lot to do with some of the teachings that have seeped into our school systems. Young developing children should not be introduced in any way to these teachings. I realize that more children are from broken homes and carry a lot of resentment etc. and are easily persuaded into this life style. They do not need added confusion and pressure added at the school level. It is not a culture it is a choice.
Now before we go any further, I am not saying you are to hate homosexuals or transgenders. My job is not to judge or condone. My only requirement is to love & to give the truth. We are to love people in their sin, but help them realize it is sin and to repent. Everyone has sinned and if someone hadn’t took time to work with me & you, we too would be lost. Love the sinner, hate the sin.
ARGUMENT USED TO DEFEND HOMOSEXUALITY
One of the arguments used to defend homosexuality is found in “Ezekiel 16:49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.” Their argument being it talks about Sodom and doesn’t say anything about homosexual activities in this verse; however one should always read the whole chapter. If you look at the verses above and below verse 49 it does say abominations. Now let me also say this, there are also other abominations listed in the Bible (Proverbs 6:16-19 lists 7), but we are talking Sodom here. We do know that homosexuality was going on in the time of Sodom and it is considered an abomination to God. The Biblical meaning of abomination is something deeply hated by God. Sin is bad, but Abomination is worse in God’s eyes.
Let’s look at “Ezekiel 16:47-52 Yet hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but, as if that were a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways. 48 As I live, saith the Lord God, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters. 49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. 50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good. 51 Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done. 52 Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear thine own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they: they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou confounded also, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters.” These verses do not condone homosexuality or any other abominations. God was very angry with the Israelites because they knew right from wrong, but were justifying their sin by condoning the sins of Sodom and Samaria. God actually says they are more guilty because; they knew what they were doing was wrong.
IS HOMOSEXUALITY AN ABOMINATION?
You should read the whole chapter of Leviticus 18 which tells all kinds of sexual things you should not do, and the last few verses apply to them also, but I wanted to show you that in the Bible Homosexuality is an abomination. There are many more verses, but would be more than you would want to read at one sitting. “Leviticus 18:22, 29-30KJV) Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination…29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people. 30 Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the Lord your God.” I would take heed, because God has warned us.
SODOM & GOMORRAH
In the days of Sodom and Gomorrah sexual misconducts and homosexuality was really bad. Genesis chapter 19 tells that God sent two angels to Lot. Lot invited them to spend the night with him, but the angels said they would sleep in the street. Lot knew what would happen to them, if they slept in the street. He pushed them into his house & made a feast for them. That night the men of the town surrounded Lot’s house & demanded he give the two men to them to have sex with. Of course, Lot knew they were angels & refused. He even offered his daughters, which they had no interest in. The town turned on Lot. The angels pulled Lot back into to the house and blinded the others. The Angels then tells Lot that he, his wife & two daughters must leave early in the morning. You know the rest of the story, if not read it.
HOMOSEXUALITY/ TRANSGENDERS WERE NOT GOD’S PLAN
Homosexuality is not what was meant to be the norm; “Genesis 2:18, 21-25 (KJV) And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him…21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. 25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.” God made Eve to be Adam’s wife. He did not make another man to be his wife. God also does not make mistakes, if you were born a girl or a boy, that is who you are supposed to be. You do not need time to make up your own mind. God already did that.
CAN HOMOSEXUALS & TRANSGENDERS GET SAVED
On a good note, one can be forgiven, if one accepts Jesus as their Savoir and repents (turns away from) their sins. accepts Jesus as their Savoir This does not mean you can continue in this sin. Again, heed the warning given in Ezekiel 18.
I prayed over writing this blog because it is not my desire to hurt anyone, however, I felt lead to do this. I feel God wanted someone to read this, either to help themselves or someone else.
